GCS Low-Voltage Drawout Switchgear
GCS low-voltage drawout switchgear is designed for three-phase 50Hz systems at 400V with operating current up to 4000A. It can support distribution, centralized motor control and reactive-power compensation, with IP40 protection.
Product Description
Background and Positioning of Product R&D
The Type GCS Low-Voltage Drawout Switchgear was developed by the former Ministry of Electric Power Industry and Ministry of Machinery Industry of China in accordance with the needs of industry authorities, power users, and design institutions. It is in line with China's national conditions, features high technical performance indicators, can adapt to the development of the power market, and is competitive with imported products. As a result, it has gained attention and recognition from manufacturing enterprises and power-using departments.
Application Scenarios and Standard Compliance
This switchgear is suitable for places with high automation levels that require computer interfaces, such as power plants, substations, petrochemical facilities, and industrial and mining enterprises. It can be used as a low-voltage assembled supporting device for power distribution, centralized motor control, and reactive power compensation in power generation and supply systems with three-phase AC frequency of 50Hz, rated operating voltage of 400V, and rated operating current up to 4000A. It has a protection level of IP40 and complies with the national standards GB7251.1, JB/T9661, and the international standard IEC439-1.
Cabinet Structure and Safety Protection Design
The cabinet structure is assembled from KS profiles (or KB profiles) with a standard module of 20mm. The profiles undergo pickling, phosphating, and electrostatic spraying processes; the internal partitions and drawers are treated with galvanizing and passivation. Various functional compartments (functional unit compartment, busbar compartment, and cable compartment) are isolated from each other and perform relatively independent functions. This design not only prevents contact with live parts of adjacent functional units but also limits the spread of faults, ensuring safe operation.
